GOT7 EP tops Korean sales charts
Boy band GOT7’s latest EP has made its way to the top of Korea’s Hanteo Chart, according to the group’s agency, JYP Entertainment.“Spinning Top: Between Security & Insecurity” ranked No. 1 on Hanteo Chart’s updated list on Tuesday for the first time since its release on May 20.
The six-track EP debuted high on both local and overseas charts, and the lead track, “Eclipse,” ranked high on the charts of local music streaming platform such as Melon, Mnet and Bugs Music.
GOT7 also ranks No. 2 on Billboard’s Social 50 list, No. 5 on the World Albums list and No. 83 on the Artist 100 list, as of June 1.
The septet will begin its world tour with two concerts on June 15 and 16 at the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, southern Seoul.
