Actors sign up for short film fests

Actors Jung Tae-woo and Lee Yoon-ji will be appearing in short feature films for the “E-Cut For the Director” movie project co-hosted by Seoul International Extreme-Short Image & Film Festival and the Seoul Metro International Subway Film Festival, according to their agencies on Wednesday.

The project intends to discover and support new directors, giving them a chance to interact with experienced actors and produce their own short films.

Although Jung put no limitations on the topic, Lee, on the other hand, specified that her appearance will only be limited to themes related to subways.

Those who wish to participate in the film project should download an application form from either of the two associations’ websites (www.sesiff.org or www.smiff.kr) and fill out necessary information about their short film. The applicants are also required to fill out a one-page synopsis, which is due by June 18. Further information about the contest can be found on the websites.
