Stuck with the steel
Posco steel products pile up at the company’s steel mill in Pohang, North Gyeongsang, on Sunday. Posco has had trouble delivering its products to clients as the transport union workers in Pohang under the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions have been on strike demanding that Posco increase the cargo delivery payments by 7 percent. They are also demanding that the steelmaker abolish its bidding system for picking the cargo drivers who charge the lowest rates. [YONHAP]
