KEB Hana signs deal to develop car sales platform

KEB Hana Bank said on Wednesday that it signed an agreement with website and app Car Auction to develop a car sales platform. The platform will provide an integrated service related to car purchases, use of vehicles and resale of used cars.

The bank will likely handle financing options for car purchases while Car Auction will broker sales of used cars.

“We are delighted to provide financial and non-financial benefits for clients hoping to sell or buy their cars through the agreement,” said Lee Jang-seong, head of the sales support division at KEB Hana Bank.

Established in 2008, Car Auction developed into one of the country’s major car sales providers with 600 partners.

Both companies have agreed to promote respective companies’ products for their users for the short term.
