Following an earlier visit to the grave of his grandfather-in-law Nobusuke Kishi — prime minister of Japan from 1957 to 1960 and a former Class-A war criminal suspect — Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe bowed before the grave of his father Shintaro Abe, a former foreign minister, on Wednesday and vowed to amend the constitution to change Japan into a “normal country” capable of carrying out war.
