MC Mong will drop a new album next month, as well as hold two solo concerts, his agency Million Market said Tuesday.
According to the agency, MC Mong will hold two concerts on Oct. 25 and 26 at the Yes24 Live Hall in eastern Seoul, and also release his eighth full-length album by the end of the month.
It has been three years since the rapper either held a solo concert or released his own album. His last concert was held in December 2016, while his seventh album came in November 2016.
MC Mong made his debut in 1998 and had been popular both for his songs and his witty jokes on entertainment shows.
However, the public turned their back when he was accused of purposefully taking his teeth out to evade his military service in 2010. A court cleared him in 2012, but how well his comeback will be received still remains to be seen.
