Shinhan Bank, GS Retail agree to work together

Shinhan Bank signed an agreement with GS Retail to cooperate on a wide range of businesses including the establishment of convenience stores in the bank’s branches, the bank announced on Thursday.

The partnership includes sharing data and joint marketing using digital platforms. Another area of cooperation is in the education of retired workers. Under the agreement, the bank will hold a briefing session on the opening of franchised convenience store for interested former workers.

“The agreement will offer diverse benefits for workers and customers at both companies,” said a spokesperson at Shinhan Bank. “We plan on widening the range of our services through the partnership.”
