Sonamoo members exit the group

Nahyun and Sumin of girl group Sonamoo have demanded that their contracts with their agency, TS Entertainment, be nullified.

Nahyun and Sumin filed a complaint against the agency last month, after sending necessary documents to the agency to end their contracts.

According to the agency, the two members came to practice “just like normal” last month, but after the documents arrived, they suddenly went off the grid and could not be reached by either the agency or the other members of the group for an extended period.

“After [finally] talking with the members and their parents, we have decided to continue the group with five members,” the agency said.

TS Entertainment was sued by its former star rapper Sleepy in April for not giving him his proper payments as written out in his contract.

According to the rapper, the agency failed to pay him properly, and even turned a blind eye to the fact that his former manager pocketed money for himself and fled, saying that “it is not the company’s fault.”

The court dismissed Sleepy’s suit, but the two parties came to an agreement to terminate the contract.

Sleepy released a track on Sunday, titled “Trouble,” expressing his anger towards his former agency.

“Those who sinned shall get punished, don’t believe the lies and stories they tell you,” reads his lyrics.

TS Entertainment, on the other hand, argued that Sleepy had made money through various events without informing the agency, saying, “We have evidence to refute everything he says.”
