Kim Shin-wook scores ninth goal for Shanghai Shenhua

Kim Shin-wook of Shanghai Shenhua scored his ninth goal of the season during a Chinese Super League match against Shenzhen FC at Hongkou Football Stadium in Shanghai on Thursday.

While the two teams were tied at 1-1, Kim, who was in the starting lineup, scored a header in the 86th minute assisted by Peng Xinli.

With Kim’s goal, Shanghai picked up a 2-1 victory.

Shanghai is now ranked 12th in the Chinese league with seven wins, six draws and 12 losses, out of 16 teams in the league. Thursday’s win allowed Shanghai to end their four-game winless streak. In its past four games, Shanghai played to three draws and a loss.

Shanghai will play their next Chinese Super League match against Dalian Yifang on Oct. 20.
