‘Crazy Romance’ to screen globally

The distribution rights for the local romantic comedy “Crazy Romance” have been sold to 22 countries, according to film distribution company Next Entertainment World (NEW) on Tuesday.
“It’s unprecedented to have the local romantic film to be sold over 20 countries,” an insider working at Contents Panda, an overseas sales company, said. “I think the humor [of the film], which combines romance and office life, was appealing to overseas buyers.”
Director Kim Han-gyul’s debut feature film stars actors Kim Rae-won and Kong Hyo-jin. Kim and Kong portray Jae-hoon and Sun-young, who are both going through break-ups and questioning what it means to be in a committed relationship.
