Footballer David Beckham visited Korea on Wednesday for an event celebrating Adidas’ 70th anniversary held at the Times Square in Yeongdeungpo, western Seoul. Adidas released special edition shoes called Ultra Boost Hangul to celebrate Hangul Day, which falls every year on Oct. 9. Adidas held a contest to come up with Beckham’s Korean name and the winning result was Baek Ga-ram. [YONHAP]
