The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced the recipients of this year’s Korean Popular Culture & Arts Awards on Tuesday. A total of 28 artists will receive awards in various categories, including the Eungwan Order of Cultural Merit, which will go to veteran actor Kim Hye-ja, left, and singer Yang Hee-eun, right. The ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. on Oct. 30 at Olympic Hall inside Olympic Park, eastern Seoul. [YONHAP]
