Lotte Duty Free stops selling flavored e-cigarettes too

Duty free operators joined convenience stores in halting the sale of flavored liquid e-cigarettes.

Lotte Duty Free Monday said it has decided to stop dealing in 12 types of liquid e-cigarettes, including four products from Juul Labs and KT&G’s Siid Tundra.

The duty-free operator said it plans to suspend the sale of the products even before they are sold out.

Also, Shilla Duty Free on Monday said it will stop selling five types of flavored liquid e-cigarettes, while Shinsegae Duty Free said it has decided to suspend the sale of 12 types of flavored liquid e-cigarettes.

The decision follows a warning from the Ministry of Health and Welfare on Wednesday, advising people to cease using flavored liquid e-cigarettes.
