Shinhan Card, Amazon to collaborate on promotionsShinhan Card signed a partnership with U.S. e-commerce giant Amazon to collaborate on different marketing and promotion events ahead of Black Friday.
Korea’s largest card company announced on Thursday that the partnership, which will last three years, mainly aims to offer promotional events when Shinhan Card users make purchases on Amazon.
This is the first time that Amazon has forged a long-term partnership with a local company, according to Shinhan Card. The move follows Shinhan Financial Group’s agreement with Amazon two years ago to jointly carry out marketing.
“We will keep on cooperating on a wide range of areas to benefit shoppers using cross-border platforms,” said Lim Young-jin, head of Shinhan Card.
