Dilly robots are being licensed to more companies

Woowa Brothers has started renting out its Dilly robots.

Woowa Brothers, which operates food delivery platform Baedal Minjok, or Baemin, said Monday it is offering Dilly robots to corporations and restaurant owners. Dilly is a robot designed for restaurants. It can carry four trays weighing 50 kilograms (110 pounds).

“The ultimate purpose of the robot Dilly is to raise store efficiency,” said a spokesperson for Woowa Brothers in a statement. “Serving robots are able to take care of difficult tasks like simple repetitive work and late night shifts, which could help store workers focus on what only people can do, ultimately raising the overall service quality.”
