Exo’s new release “Obsession” topped the iTunes charts in 60 regions around the world, SM Entertainment said on Thursday.
“King of K-pop, Exo’s sixth full-length ‘Obsession’ sat atop global music charts immediately after its release,” the agency said.
The album, which came out on Wednesday, topped the iTunes Top Album Chart in 60 regions including Canada, France, the Arab Emirates and India.
It also sits at No. 1 on local music charts and album charts, including Hanteo Chart, Sinnara Record, Kyobo Books, Yes24 and Aladin, proving the group’s power even with just six members.
Members Xiumin and D.O. are currently serving in the army, while Lay is pursuing his own activities in China.
