Rookie actor Cha In-ha dies at 27
Actor Cha In-ha was discovered dead in his home on Tuesday afternoon by his manager. He was 27 years old.Local media outlets reported that police were still investigating the cause of his death, which remains unknown at press time.
His agency, Fantagio, sent out an official statement soon after the news broke.
“We still cannot believe that it really happened,” said the agency. “Please refrain from reporting rumors or speculative articles for the sake of his family.”
Cha debuted in 2017 in the short feature film “You, Deep Inside of Me” and steadily expanded his career through appearing in various dramas such as “Temperature of Love” (2017) and “Wok of Love” (2018) on SBS, “Clean with Passion for Now” (2019) on JTBC and “The Banker” (2019) on MBC.
The actor was currently appearing on the MBC drama “Love With Flaws” with actors Oh Yeon-seo and Ahn Jae-hyun, playing Oh’s older brother.
