BTS’s red carpet looks fuel searches

BTS was named one of Google’s top 10 People of the Red Carpet in its annual Year in Search report released on Wednesday.

This year, BTS was the sixth-most searched name along with the phrase “Red Carpet” on the search engine, according to Google’s annual report of its top queries of the year.

BTS walked down the red carpet at the Grammy Awards in February, where they were decked out in sharp suits. The group became the first K-pop act to appear at the Grammy Awards that night.

Actor and singer Billy Porter was the most-searched red carpet star, for the half-tuxedo half-dress he donned at the Oscar Awards in February, while second place went to rapper Cardi B, who was followed by Lady Gaga, comedian Amy Schumer’s husband Chris Fischer and Jenny McCarthy.

The most searched people of the year were Antonio Brown, Jussie Smollett, James Charles, Kevin Hart, R. Kelly, 21 Savage, Lori Loughlin, Jordyn Woods, Bryce Harper and Robert Kraft.
