The CJ Cultural Foundation announced Monday the winners at this year’s Korea-China Youth Dream Short Film Festival, which was held at CGV Beijing Indigo, in Beijing from Dec. 11 to 13. The director’s award went to Wu Boping and Yang Yufei’s “A Big Deal.” During the festival, which began in 2014 to encourage young directors who will lead the future of the Korean-Chinese film industry, 11 Korean short films, including the opening film “My Dear Sarah” by Kim Deok-geun and “Hello Bushman” by Kim Yong-chun, were also screened.
