Amorepacific set for beautiful CES

Amorepacific will demonstrate a 3-D-printed mask pack and an LED beauty device at the upcoming 2020 CES, which will run Jan. 7 through Jan. 10 in Las Vegas.

The cosmetics company on Monday said it will debut a 3-D printing mask pack at the trade show. The 3-D mask pack utilizes technology that helps create personalized hydrogel facial mask packs that match a user’s facial size and skin type, according to Amorepacific.

Based on the technology, jointly developed with 3-D printer firm Lincsolution in 2017, a facial mask can be made in five minutes.

The company won an innovation award for the 3-D printing mask packs.

Amorepacific will also introduce a beauty device tentatively called the LED Flexible Patch. The LED light helps brighten skin color and improve skin elasticity, according to the beauty firm. The device can also be used on the neck.

“It’s a big honor to be able to demonstrate innovative technologies that Amorepacific developed with information technology to the world through CES,” said a spokesperson for Amorepacific in a statement. “Amorepacific will continue to develop innovative products to deliver health and beauty.”
