Singer Lee Hae-ri of Davichi will be returning as a solo artist and releasing her second EP on Jan. 29.
“This will be the first time she is releasing an EP as a solo artist in two years and nine months,” Lee’s agency Stone Music Entertainment said in a statement on Thursday. “She took the time to focus her energy into the project. It will be a high quality album that has all of what Lee Hae-ri is as an artist.”
This is also the first time in a while that Lee is releasing new music. The last time was when Lee released “Heartache” in September last year.
Lee and Kang Min-kyung of Davichi are known in the music and entertainment worlds for their strong vocal skills. Davichi’s “Unspoken Words” (2019) was at the top of local music charts including Genie and Melon for weeks and received the Artist of the Year award in digital music at the Gaon Chart Music Awards for April and May of 2019 on Wednesday. The group debuted in 2008.
