“The first Ellen Show on the channel will air on Jan. 24 at 10:40 p.m., and the show will be aired every Friday and Saturday evening at 10:40 p.m.,” A&E Networks Korea, which runs Lifetime and History channels in Korea, said in a statement on Friday.
The first episodes to air will all feature K-pop boy band BTS.
“It will be a BTS special, as we air a collection of episodes on which BTS makes an appearance, from their early days of performing in the United States to after they’ve become world stars,” the company said.
The episodes also include the boy band’s performances of “DNA,” “Fake Love” and “Mic Drop,” and more personal conversations between Ellen and members of the group.
The BTS special will be followed by episodes with Scarlet Johansson, Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Oprah Winfrey, Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton and Bill Gates, according to A&E Networks Korea.
