‘Parasite’ wins sound editing award

The sound editing team of Bong Joon-ho’s “Parasite” won the Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing - Foreign Language Feature prize at the 67th Golden Reel Awards at Los Angeles on Sunday.

Livetone, affiliated with Dexter Studios, a visual effects company based in western Seoul, took home the trophy.

The Motion Picture Sound Editors select awardees for 23 categories in sound editing annually, in films, documentaries, TV series, games and other media.

Also awarded Sunday were the sound teams of “1917,” “Jojo Rabbit,” “Rocketman” and “Ford v Ferrari” in the film section and “Chernobyl” and “Game of Thrones” in the TV section.
