‘Parasite’ reviewed well on Watcha

“Parasite” has the highest reviews of the Oscar-nominated films among international users of the film rating system Watcha, according to the company on Wednesday.
According to data collected by the company, the genre-bending film was given high evaluations from viewers around the world. North America gave the film 4.3 stars out of five, Europe gives the film 4.42 stars and Oceania gives the film 4.26 stars. Among local users, the film has been given 4.27 stars.
Of the Oscar-nominated films, “Parasite” ranks the highest among American users, with a score of 4.31 stars, while Noah Baumbach’s “Marriage Story” follows with 4.16 stars. “Ford v Ferrari,” “Little Women” and “Joker” ranked third, fourth and fifth respectively.
In Europe, the film was rated the highest with 4.42 stars, surpassing director Martin Scorsese’s “The Irishman.” The Scorsese film currently has a score of 4.36 stars. However, the platform excludes “1917,” “Jojo Rabbit” and “Little Women” from the ranks as it lacked enough data to rank them.
