American ‘Parasite’ series is casting
Tilda Swinton may be cast in a role on the HBO mini-series “Parasite,” the Illuminerdi reported exclusively on Thursday.Swinton, who has worked with director Bong Joon-ho in “Snowpiercer” (2013) and “Okja” (2017), has been approached by Bong for a role in the HBO series, the media outlet reported.
“Tilda Swinton appears to be taking on Jang Hye-jin’s role of Chung-sook [the mother who becomes a maid],” the Illuminerdi reported.
It added that Mark Ruffalo was also offered a role.
“That’d be amazing,” Ruffalo told TMZ as he arrived at the LAX airport on Monday and was asked if he’d like to play a role on the miniseries. “I’d be honored to be able to play something in that.”
