Seoul Jazz Festival reveals new acts
The 14th Seoul Jazz Festival revealed its second lineup of artists on Wednesday, promising an exciting weekend for attendees of the two-day festival scheduled for May 23 and 24.The festival is adding some of the biggest names in jazz to the lineup, including bosa nova king Sergio Mendes, classic jazz band Still Dreaming with Joshua Redman, Ron Miles, Scott Colley and Dave King, Australian jazz band Jakubi and jazz trio Moonchild.
For fans who’d like to enjoy a wider spectrum of music genres, the festival will also feature performances from British band Honne, Icelandic singer Asgeir, British songwriter Conor Maynard and British electro-R&B band Prep.
Korean acts set to perform include sibling duo AKMU, singer Baek Ye-rin and Crush.
The new names to the lineup join the eight acts revealed earlier this year, including Marcus Miller, MGMT, Alessia Cara, Sigrid, Bishop Briggs and Emily King.
The Seoul Jazz Festival will be held at Olympic Park in southern Seoul. Tickets are available through Interpark and WeMakePrice.
