Actor Hyun Bin, beloved by fans for his recent role in the tvN drama series “Crash Landing on You,” has accepted an offer to play a role in an upcoming Korean film, an action movie involving rescuing Koreans held hostage abroad.
Hyun Bin was cast for a role along with actor Hwang Jung-min. The two will play an intelligence agent and a diplomat duo assigned to rescue the hostages held in a Middle Eastern country.
The film will be directed by Yim Soon-rye, who is also behind “Forever the Moment” (2008) and “Little Forest” (2018).
The title of the film in Korean, “Gyoseop,” roughly translates to negotiation. An English title of the film has not been decided, according to Megabox.
