Queuing for masks

Crowds form at Seoul Station in central Seoul on Tuesday trying to purchase protective masks. Despite the government’s promise to supply 3.5 million protective masks everyday, shortages have created nationwide panic as people have been lining up for hours whenever masks are on sale as the coronavirus outbreak shows little signs of abating. On Tuesday, 600 new cases were confirmed, bringing the nation’s total to 4,812. [YONHAP]
