Presales for NCT 127’s album break record
According to the agency, NCT 127’s new album “NCT #127 Neo Zone,” which will be released on Friday 6 p.m., pre-sold 530,000 copies ahead of its release.
The number is the highest for the group, the agency said.
“Neo Zone” is a 13-track album led by the single “Kick It,” and the group’s first full-length album to drop in a year and a half.
The group’s last EP, “NCT #127 We Are Superhuman” reached No. 11 of the Billboard 200 album chart and No. 6 on the Billboard Artist 100.
The music video for “Kick It” was released on Thursday, and drew attention in Korea and abroad for its unique martial arts theme.
