MAN Truck & Bus Korea said Tuesday it is investing 6 billion won ($5 million) to move its distribution center in Busan to Yeongdong County, North Chungcheong.
The new center will be 5,000 square meters (53,800 square feet), around 50 percent larger than the current one. The Korean unit of the German commercial automaker said the new center will allow it to deliver auto parts anywhere in the country except Jeju Island within four hours.
In November, MAN Truck & Bus announced that it is focused on improving maintenance and after sales services in Korea after complaints and lawsuits last year.
The commercial automaker is preparing to launch new trucks with improved engines this year.
