‘Map of the Soul: 7’ becomes the best-selling album in Korean history

According to Korean album sales tracker Gaon Chart’s update on Thursday, BTS’s “7” has sold a total of 4,114,843 copies since its release on Feb. 21.
The group has beat its own record set by its previous album “Map of the Soul: Persona,” which sold 3.22 million copies a month after it was released in April 2019 and 3.71 million copies by the end of the year.
BTS’s song “On,” the lead single off of “Map of the Soul: 7,” sits high on music charts all over the world, including Billboard and the British Official Charts.
