Eddie Kang’s exhibition “Eddie Kang.ZIP: We will be alright” is open through June 27 at cultural center Paradise ZIP in Jangchung-dong, central Seoul, showcasing some 40 works including “M.W_2019,” above. The exhibition has been put together “to bring comfort to viewers,” especially during the coronavirus outbreak, the organizer of the exhibition, Paradise Cultural Foundation, said Monday. Kang’s works are known for the artist’s unique use of “animamix,” a mix of animation and comics. “I hope that the exhibition will help people fall under a spell, even if for a brief moment, and believe that everything is going to be alright,” Kang said. The exhibition is open Monday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Entrance is free.
