Samsung Electronics will adopt a ‘chatbot’ systemSamsung Electronics said Wednesday it will adopt a “chatbot” system for consumer communication.
The text-based bot, which can be accessed through Samsung’s website, will answer frequently asked questions, such as the locations of service centers and how to request repair service.
The new service operates around the clock.
Samsung said that it deployed deep learning technology to show related queries when a customer enters a certain key word.
If the customer typed “air purifier,” for instance, the chatbot service would list a range of Samsung air purifiers and recommend articles explaining how to change filters.
