Monsta X is hard at work on its upcoming album ‘Fantasia X’

Boy group Monsta X is busy preparing to release its new album “Fantasia X” on May 11, its agency Starship Entertainment announced Tuesday.

Seven months since releasing its last Korean album “Follow: Find You,” the agency says that the group is taking extra care to satisfy fans with the upcoming album.

The group released its first full-length American album “All About Luv” on Feb. 14, and it managed to rank fifth on the Billboard 200 albums chart the following week.

The group has undergone a lot of changes over the last year after former member Wonho, whose real name is Lee Ho-seok, was accused of having smoked marijuana. Wonho exited the group, and the agency reported last month that he had been cleared of all charges related to drug abuse.

The group’s main rapper Jooheon took a short break earlier this year to recover from anxiety disorder. At the end of last month, the agency reassured fans that he has recovered and the group is ready to return to the local music industry with its next album.
