‘TWICE: Seize the Light’ makes its YouTube premiere on April 29Girl group Twice’s YouTube original series, “TWICE: Seize the Light,” will be released in 81 countries on April 29, the group’s agency JYP Entertainment said Tuesday.
“It is an eight-part documentary that tells the group’s history, beginning with when they were K-pop trainees, and will show an honest look of what the members went through,” the agency said in its statement.
The documentary sheds light especially on the group’s preparations for the “Twice World Tour 2019 ‘Twicelights’” last year and features in-depth interviews with the members about their experiences.
“This is the first time that a girl group is starring in a YouTube original series,” JYP Entertainment said.
Popular K-pop boy bands, including TVXQ, Super Junior and BTS, have starred in YouTube original shows.
The eight-part documentary, to be launched at 11 p.m. on April 29 on YouTube, will air every Wednesday night at 11 p.m. on YouTube.
Twice will be meeting with its fans online during a livestream event on YouTube at 2 p.m. on April 28. The event will include a Q&A session with fans and the media.
