Park Ji-min is now Jamie after signing with Warner Music Korea
Singer Park Ji-min will begin a new chapter in her career with a new name at a new agency, Warner Music Korea said on Tuesday.The agency recently signed an exclusive contract with the singer, who will now go by the name Jamie.
Park debuted in 2012 as a part of the JYP Entertainment duo 15& with singer Baek Ye-rin, after winning the first season of SBS’s audition program “Kpop Star” (2012).
The duo released the hits “I Dream” (2012), “Somebody” (2013) and “Can’t Hide It” (2014).
Park has proved herself as a solo vocalist since 2015, when she released her first solo single “Hopeless Love,” followed by “19 to 20” the following year and “Stay Beautiful” in 2019.
“Warner Music Korea sees vast potential in the singer and vows to give her all the support she needs to fully realize her potential,” the agency said.
