Park Hyatt Seoul re-opens for normal operation on June 9 after closing temporarily on March 27 to ensure the health and safety of guests and associates, following a confirmed visit by an individual infected with Covid-19. The hotel’s reopening is based on the judgment that it is now safe to welcome guests again, following the general stabilization of the public health situation in Korea and the government's official transition to a policy of social distancing in early May. The hotel will continue to follow the strict hygiene and sterilization guidelines introduced at the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak, including the wearing of masks by all associates, hourly sterilization, and temperature checks, complemented by further enhanced hygiene measures.

Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas
From June 1: Grand Deli, located on the first floor of Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Samseong-dong, will launch two types of premium chicken dishes made from environmentally-friendly and antibiotic-free chicken, which offer the perfect option for a healthY summer picnic or dinner party. Along with the launch of the Western-style 'Roast Chicken' and Chinese-style 'Garlic Xiaoji Chicken', the hotel will also roll out a drive-through service to facilitate swift, convenient purchases. In addition, customers are invited to enjoy the new menus as a chicken and beer set along with two cans of Art Pale Ale which is InterContinental Seoul's second signature craft beer launched on May 19.

The ‘Roast Chicken' boasts a juicy and soft texture as it is oven-baked using a patent-pending curing technique that applies natural carbonated water from Chojeong-ri. Customers will also be offered an extra serving of 'Quattro Cheese Chicken Breast' which is stuffed with four types of cheese and spinach to create a smooth, savory taste that can be appreciated by people of all ages. It contains chestnuts and mushrooms that are cooked in balsamic vinegar. Additional side dishes include handmade pickles made with six-year old balsamic vinegar to enhance the flavor of the chicken, as well as spicy Arrabbiata and green peppercorn sauces. The patent-pending curing technique applied to cook the Roast Chicken and Quattro Cheese Chicken Breast typically neutralizes the salty taste by mixing alkaline salt with the acidic natural carbonated water of Chojeong-ri, and uses the air bubbles inside the carbonated water to promote an osmotic effect, thereby rendering the meat’s texture tender and juicy.

The 'Garlic Xiaoji Chicken', which was launched this year, is an exotic Chinese-style chicken dish that is served cold together with side dishes consisting of stir-fried vegetables and lettuce wraps. The environmentally-friendly and antibiotic-free chicken is boiled, fried, steamed, cooled down, and then marinated in sauces, to be served as a soft-textured cold dish. Also served are Chinese-style homemade pickles, along with soy and garlic sauces that are salted and aged directly by our Chinese cuisine chefs.

The two premium chicken dishes must be reserved two days in advance and are available until Aug. 31 at the Grand Deli located on the first floor of the hotel. The premium chicken is available at 49,000 won, and the premium chicken plus two cans of signature craft beer (500 milliliters) at 60,000 won. To celebrate the launch, a 10 percent saving will be offered during the month of June when the dishes are reserved and purchased through Naver Pay.
