Singer-turned-actor Ryu Hwa-young signed a contract with her new agency, Polaris Entertainment, on Wednesday. [POLARIS ENTERTAINMENT]

 
Singer-turned-actor Ryu Hwa-young signed a contract with her new agency Polaris Entertainment, the company announced on Wednesday. 

 
“We will support Ryu to act in a stable and professional environment,” the agency said in an official statement.  
 
Ryu, a former member of the disbanded girl group T-ara, turned to acting in 2012 and featured in drama series “Mad Dog” (2017), “My Father is Strange” (2017) on KBS and “Beauty Inside” (2018) and “Hello, My Twenties!” (2017-18) on JTBC.
 
Polaris Entertainment is home to actor Oh Yoon-ah, musical actor Chung Jae-eun and former Wonder Girls member Sunye among others.
