Treasure for sale



Art work going on sale at K-Auction in southern Seoul on July 15 include paintings that are part of Treasure No. 1796 Haeak palgyeong and Songyu palhyeondo (Album of Eight Scenic Views of Seas and Mountains and Eight Confucian Scholars of the Song Dynasty) by Jeong Seon, shown above. Jeong Seon is the representative painter of the last years of Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). Other works registered for the auction include art work by Lee Woo-hwan, Paik Nam June and Kim Whanki.
