Blackpink has broken the record for the most-viewed music video in the first 24 hours of release on YouTube with its latest release "How You Like That.”

According to YouTube, "How You Like That" was watched 86.3 million times within 24 hours after it was posted at 6 p.m. on Friday, beating K-pop megastar BTS, who recorded 74.6 million views with its video "Boy With Luv,” which was released in April last year.

It’s not the first time for Blackpink to hold the YouTube record for most views within 24 hours. Just days before BTS's "Boy With Luv" dropped, Blackpink set the record with "Kill This Love" (2019), which garnered 56.7 million views within a day of its release on April 5. "Kill This Love" sits at No. 4 on the most-watched video list, while "Boy With Luv" sits at No. 2 and Taylor Swifts' "Me!" (2019) sits at No. 3.

According to YouTube, "How You Like That" also set the record for most views by YouTube Premier users at 1.66 million.

"How You Like That" continues to dominate on local and overseas music charts, and even took the No. 1 spot on the iTunes American Song Chart on Tuesday.
