Lee So-ra appears on magazine cover for first time in her 28-year career

Veteran singer Lee So-ra surprised her fans Friday morning by featuring on the cover of a magazine for the first time in her 28 years in the entertainment industry.

Fashion magazine Dazed released the cover of its August edition, which specially deals with “Music & Musicians,” and said the magazine decided to have Lee on the cover for this special issue as she is one of the singers who “represents Korea.”

Lee also shot an 18-page spread with luxury fashion brand Balenciaga that features in the August issue. Nineteen other musicians will also be Veteran singer Lee So-ra surprised her fans Friday morning by becoming the cover of a magazine for the first time in her 28 years of her career in the entertainment industry.

“I’ve turned down so many things so far so I decided to accept this one for a change,” Lee said about her first fashion photoshoot. “It was as if I was wearing a stiff building, if you know what I mean.”

Lee has been appearing on JTBC’s busking program “Begin Again” since 2017 but decided to step down as of July 4.
