Treasure, a new boy band created by YG Entertainment, will officially debut on Aug. 7.

The agency unveiled on its blog Monday a video that explains that concept behind the new group, alongside a poster with the date for the debut. It's the agency's first new group in four years since the debut of Blackpink.

It's also the largest group the agency has introduced, with 12 members.

In the video, the members demonstrated their goal to take a step into the global market.

“There are discoveries to be made in everyday life,” the video's narrator says, followed by innovative discoveries throughout world history.

The narrator continues, “This one step will change everything,” and the video shows a light created by 12 members together covering the entire earth.

The debut of the new group has been awaited by many fans around the globe. Fans have made a hashtag #makewayfortreasure since the release of a poster that indicated the group’s upcoming debut last week. Accumulated views on the group’s video online have surpassed 100 million. Its YouTube account already has over 1.2 million followers.
