Actor Kang So-ra is getting hitched

Actor Kang So-ra, 30, will tie the knot with her boyfriend on Aug. 29, she said in a letter on Monday.

“Everyone must be very surprised by the sudden news, but I'm here with good news that I met a partner whom I want to be with in the future,” Kang wrote.

“It has been 11 years since I debuted as an actor, and I was able to come all the way here thanks to my fans’ love and support. Thank you very much for always being by my side.

“To all the people who believed in me and supported me, I'll try my best to repay that trust with my happy marriage and my role as an actor,” she said.

Her agency Plum Actors announced Kang’s marriage on the same day in a statement.

“The wedding was scheduled for Aug. 29, but as the Covid-19 cases recently surged again, they will only have a small gathering with their parents,” the statement said.

“Kang will continue with her work as an actor, so please give a lot of blessings and support her. She is about to start a new chapter in her life."
