BTS won the Top Social Artist award for the fourth consecutive year at this year’s Billboard Music Awards.

The septet is the only K-pop act to not only be nominated but also to win the fan-voted award since 2017.

This year, the group participated in the ceremony online due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Thank you ARMY for giving this award to us for four years,” J-Hope said during the band's acceptance speech.

“This award is a proof that no matter where BTS and ARMY are, we are very close,” RM said.

After receiving the award, the septet performed their latest single “Dynamite” from Incheon International Airport's Terminal 2.

According to their agency Big Hit Entertainment, the group organized their Billboard Music Awards performance with hopes that the world, separated due to Covid-19, can be connected again soon.

The other award which the group was nominated for — Top Duo/Group — was taken by the Jonas Brothers.

BTS recently set a new record by becoming the first musician ever to top the Billboard Social 50 chart for 200 consecutive weeks.

As of now, "Savage Love (Laxed-Siren Beat),” on which the group features, sits at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, followed by “Dynamite” at No. 2, according to the latest Billboard update on Tuesday.
