Singer-actor Rain to drop new album — as part of a duo
Singer and actor Rain will be dropping a new album soon, the first in three years, his management company SAA said on Wednesday.
However, this time, it will be as part of a duo.
The news comes as a surprise to many of his fans as the artist has been working solo since 2002.
SAA said the news of the newly-formed duo is nothing in comparison to "who he’s forming a duo with,” describing the other member as an “artist who is recognized by everyone for his phenomenal dance skills,” adding that the two artists will show “unforeseen dance performances.”
Excluding the short appearance he made on television as a member of a project group known as SSAK3, produced through the MBC variety show “Hangout with Yoo,” Rain has been away from the music scene since 2017.
His last release was “My Life,” in December of that year.
