Local celebrities will participate in a charity event titled "Manna" to help pay for the treatment fees of children with rare diseases at Luire Studio in Seongsu-dong, eastern Seoul, on Nov. 7, the organizers reported on Thursday.

In Korean, manna means "let's meet."

Actors Kim Ki-bang, Kim So-hyun, Sung Yu-ri, Yoo Yeon-seok, Lee Kwang-soo, Lee Jin, Jung Moon-sung, Zo In-sung and Cha Tae-hyun will attend the event from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Personal belongings of these celebrities such as clothes, stationary, household items and accessories will be up for sale, and the profits along with any donations will go to support the treatment costs of the children.
