Girl group Loona releases music video for English song 'Star'

Girl group Loona unveiled an English version of their “Star” music video from their third EP “Midnight (12:00)” on Wednesday.

On their third EP, the group included an English track titled “Star,” which has the same melody as the EP’s Korean track “Voice.”

Because the melodies are the same, foreign fans of Loona assumed “Star” is an English version of “Voice” — however, the lyrics are completely different.

In the music video, Loona put on a dreamlike performance in a “private midnight festival, paying homage to the light of stars which give them strength and confidence,” said the girls’ agency, BlockBerry Creative.

Early this month, the 12-member girl group entered the Billboard 200 chart for the first time, making headlines for achieving such a feat as a girl group from a small entertainment agency.
