Musicians who took part in MBC's “Show! Music Core” on Saturday and SBS's “Inkigayo” on Sunday will all be tested for the coronavirus after Bitto of boy group UP10TION, who performed on both shows, tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday.
The boy band’s agency Top Media said on its official website that Bitto was notified after his scheduled work on Sunday that he had come into contact with someone who has tested positive and was subsequently tested and also found to be infected with the virus.
The agency said it canceled all of the group's scheduled events and all artists who came into contact with Bitto will be tested.
SM Entertainment’s NCT and aespa, Cube Entertainment’s BTOB 4U, CNBlue and many others are just some of the acts being tested after also appearing on the shows.
