As the entertainment industry continues to struggle with the coronavirus, the members of rookie boy band Enhypen were all tested after learning they came into contact with a person who tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday morning.

“We received news in the morning that one of our outsourced staff members who worked with the group on Dec. 5 was infected with the coronavirus,” the band's agency Belift Lab said on Wednesday through fan community service Weverse. “The government did not officially instruct us to be tested, but the artists and staff decided to go ahead with the procedure as a precautionary measure.”

The agency reported that the group will cancel all of their schedules and self-isolate until they receive the test results.

Enhypen canceled its appearance on MBC radio program “Kim Shin Young’s Noon Song of Hope” on Wednesday and an untact fan event next Monday.

Others in the music industry that tested positive for the coronavirus this week include trot singer Lee Chan-won, Chungha, and members from girl group Everglow and boy band UP10TION.
