22nd Jeonju International Film Festival to take place from April 29 to May 8
The 22nd Jeonju International Film Festival will take place for 10 days in April, the organizing committee finalized on Friday.
The film fest will be held from April 29 to May 8 under the slogan "The film goes on," having held its 21st festival online due to Covid-19.
The slogan is a manifesto of the festival's will to overcome the pandemic together as film lovers and bring hope to the virus-stricken industry, according to the committee.
The committee will plan for a festival that's held both online and offline, but prepare for alternatives according to the different scenarios of the government guidelines in that period.
"The Jeonju International Film Festival will endeavor to think about sustainability amid the Covid-19 pandemic," said Lee Joon-dong, festival director.
The 21st Jeonju International Film Festival was held for 116 days online from May 28 to Sept. 20 last year.
